Choosing a cake can be a very interesting endeavor. All skilled bakers have albums and albums of designs, layer schemes, pillar designs, flavors, icings, etc. It is a challenge to choose amongst all the architectural masterpieces and decadent flavors. However, this weekend I finally saw something that made me think, why should I worry about impact when there is a design that just says ME!

It was gorgeous ladies! A three layer cake, each layer enveloped in blue icing with a cream band going around each layer. If you have a mental image, you are probably having dejavu of a dream you have every Christmas and Valentine’s Day. What I am talking about is a design of three stacked Tiffany’s boxes. It was a sight to behold! Unfortunately, the only thing missing were jewels to make me shimmer and shine. However, the perfect blend of icing and cake was an adequate short-term substitute for a much sweeter and expensive craving. Thanks…for getting those urges going
