Bachelorette Party 101
How to plan a fun and safe bachelorette party for your favorite bride!
Planning the bachelorette party is a duty of the Maid of Honor and other Bridesmaids. Sometimes other family or friends will assist in planning such as a sister, friend or aunt.
Where to start?
Pick a town or place to host the event such as hometown, town of the wedding or somewhere in between. Another fun idea is New York City, Las Vegas or Atlantic City! Once you have your location set a good idea is to rent a hotel room or two for the night. This will give you a place to start the festivities and a safe place to sleep for the night, especially if you will be traveling. Next rent transportation for the evening or have a designated driver. Most of the girls will want to visit bars or clubs which will involve drinking. Stay safe - rent a limo or limo bus depending on the number that will be attending.

Another great idea for a bachelorette celebration is to schedule a spa party! The entire wedding party can come together to enjoy manicures and pedicures or facials and massages! A spa party is the perfect alternative to an evening out for the girls. Now what to do?
Here are some fun ideas to get things started.
- Create a sign for the entrance of the hotel room.
- Have shirts made for the Bride and one for each girl in attendance -
everyone will want to see what you are celebrating. If you don’t want to have t-shirts professionally made, make them yourself. Include cute sayings, the date of the wedding, “last night”…whatever you like.
- Have a tiara, sash, button, veil or shot glass for the bride to make the statement that this is all for her!
- Have favors made for each girl at the party! Erotic chocolates are a favorite! Use your imagination!
- Have a lingerie or panty party for the bride. Buy cute/dirty things for the wedding night/honeymoon!
- Play games at the hotel or bring a card game with dares for the bride to do at the bars. Include prizes!
- Have appetizers and champagne at the hotel to make sure you have some food in your stomachs before going out!
- Go to bars, dance clubs, strip clubs or to a casino for an evening of fun!
- Don’t forget to make sure every girl is having fun, being safe and no one gets left behind. Maid of Honor count heads to make sure every girl makes it to each place and gets back to the hotel safely!
- Take lots of pictures!
